Grand Slam Tennis is celebrating a sensational end to the Sydney Badge season, with our Men’s 1 Division 2 team crowned champions after a dominant finals performance!
After an unexpected delay pushed the final back by a week, our top men’s team showed patience, resilience, and pure class as they travelled to Hunter’s Hill on Saturday to take on a strong opponent on their home turf.
The team rose to the occasion in emphatic fashion, securing a 5-1 victory to claim the title.
“The boys were fired up and ready to go,” said Stuart Thompson, reflecting on the win. “They played smart, aggressive tennis and didn’t let the delay affect their momentum.”
The win marks a significant achievement for the team, who have shown consistent strength throughout the season with impressive performances week after week.
This victory also highlights the depth and talent within the Grand Slam Tennis program, with players continuing to thrive in one of Sydney’s most competitive adult tennis competitions.
