It has been a fantastic term of Hot Shots Tennis, Go Bananas Soccer and Code Camp - the children are improving and having fun!  And congratulations to all those children who have taken part in the Primary School Challenge this year!

 

 

PRIMARY SCHOOL CHALLENGE

 

The children from Cammeray PS and Anzac Park PS have played extremely well in the NSTA Primary School Challenge this year.  Congratulations to Cammeray PS, who were in the top 12 best performing schools (out of a total of 26), and played for the Champion School position in the Masters Champsionship!

 

The final result placed Cammeray PS equal 4th in the Masters Championship, out of the top 12 schools - a fantastic effort!

 

The Term 4 challenge was held on Saturday 16 November and there were some fantastic results with many children taking home medals for 1st and 2nd prize on their court and Cammeray PS winning the section at Willis Park.

 

Cammeray Public School have performed consistently well during the year, coming 2nd overall in Term 1, 4th in Term 2 and 3rd in Term 3.

 

It is great to see so many children getting involved.  Every player contributed to their school’s performance!

CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY TENNIS CAMPS

CODE CAMP

 

Code Camp is continuing on Thursdays in Term 1 at Wheatleigh St Tennis Centre.  If you are looking for a fun After School activity on Thursday afternoons, why not try Code Camp!  After Class Care from 5 to 6pm is also available on Thursday!

 

With specialised teachers, the After School Code Camp teaches kids coding skills where they produce multiple games and apps using an exciting online platform Code Camp World!

GO BANANAS SOCCER

 

Go Bananas Soccer is continuing at Wheatleigh St Tennis Centre in Term 1 on Tuesday and Friday afternoons!

 

Children will be picked up from school in the Hot Shots minibus.

 

Go Bananas is organised and run by North Sydney United Head Coach, Joe Liddle.

TALENT ID SQUADS

 

Talent ID Squads are continuing for Orange and Green Ball players!

 

Squads are in addition to the normal Hot Shots Tennis class and students are selected and invited to play by the Head Coach.

 

Training takes place on Monday mornings (8-10 years) or Friday mornings (9-12 years).
